Druids' Skills

 

Druid is the character that most skills is able to have (which may be turned into a disadvantage – Druids have the same allocable skill points to distribute among a higher number of skills). Here, I'll describe the skills I have. Some of them are common to other classes, while others are druids specific ones.

 

I used x, y and z to refer variable values. These values increase when the skill is upgraded.

RECUPERATE

 

 

Description: Rest and tend to your wounds to regain (X) health per tick for 2 minutes.

Ability: First aid

Stat: Vitality

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: Your out of combat health regeneration is increased while this effect is active.

 

BANDAGE WOUNDS

 

 

Description: Use your First Aid ability to bandage the wounds of yourself or an ally, healing (X) health. Adding vitality increases the effect of this skill.

NATURES TOUCH

 

 

Description: Draw upon the power of your Nature Magic ability to heal yourself or an ally for (X) health.

STRANGLING VINES

 

 

Description: Use your Nature Magic ability to entwine your enemy in a thorny embrace, dealing up to (X) damage per tick for 30 seconds.

Ability: Nature Magic

Skill Class: Wounding Attack Evasion

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: You are surrounded by constricting vines that crush the life out of you, causing damage for 30 seconds.

 


GRASPING ROOTS

 

 

Description: Call upon your Nature Magic ability to ensnare an enemy up to level (X), stoping them from moving for 20 seconds.

Ability: Nature Magic

Energy Cost: (Y)

Skill Class: Movement Attack Evasion

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: You are rooted, preventing movement for 20 seconds.

 


HOWLING WIND

 

 

Description: Use your Nature Magic ability to summon a howling wind that buffets your enemy, lowering their attack by -(X) for 60 seconds.

Ability: Nature Magic

Skill Class: Weakening Attack Evasion

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: Your chance to hit in combat is reduced for 60 seconds.

 


CALM

 

 

Description: Surround the target ally in a calming aura, easing the enemy's anger towards them.

Ability: Nature Magic

SHIELD OF BARK

 

 

Description: Call upon nature to clad yourself or an ally in a armour of bark, increasing armour by (X) for 2 minutes.

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: Thick layers of bark envelope your body, boosting your armour for 2 minutes.

 

 

NATURES EMBRACE

 

 

Description: Call on nature to comfort an ally, recovering (X) health per tick, for 45 seconds.

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

Difficulty: (Z)

Energy Cost: (Y)

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: The power of nature courses through you, boosting your health regeneration for 45 seconds.

 

 

LIGHTNING STRIKE

 

 

Description: Hurl a deadly bolt of lightning towards the enemy, dealing up to (X) magic damage.

Ability: Nature Magic

Energy Cost: (Y)

Skill Class: Spell Attack Evasion

 

 

ABUNDANCE

 

 

Description: Fill the target with a sense of abundance of nature, increasing their maximum health by (X).

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: The power of nature causes your maximum health to be increased for 3 minutes.

 

 

MEDITATE

 

 

Description: Use your First Aid ability to meditate and regain (X) energy per tick for 2 minutes.

Ability: First Aid

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: Your out of combat energy regeneration is increased while this effect is active.

 

 

STORM TOUCH

 

 

Description: Call the fury of nature upon an enemy that you touch, dealing up to (X) damage.

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

Energy Cost: (Y)

Skill Class: Spell Attack Evasion

 

 

ABUNDANT AURA

 

 

Description: Create a powerful aura of abundance, increasing the health of your target and group members within 6 meters by (X).

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

Energy Cost: (Y)

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: You are under the effects of Ward of Soldiers, reducing all slashing damage taken.

 

 

SPRING OF LIFE

 

 

Description: Call upon your nature magic to bring an fallen ally, of level (X) or lower back to life. Allies are revived with 1 hp, and will be healed for 50 after 5 seconds. Those revived by this spell do not suffer from the Course of the Fallen.

WARD OF SOLDIERS

 

 

Description: Cast a magical Ward upon all group members within 6 meters of your target, increasing resistance to slash damage by (X).

Ability: Nature Magic

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: You are under the effects of Ward of Soldiers, reducing all slashing damage taken.

 

 

ENERGY HARVEST

 

 

Description: Transfers (X) energy from the target to yourself.

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

Energy Cost: (Y)

 

 

RESCUE

 

 

Description: Teleport target ally bellow level (X) to your location. Rescued allies also regenerate (Z) health per tick for 15 seconds.

Energy Cost: (Y)

 

 

DOUBLE ATTACK

 

 

Description: A close range strike that deals double damage and cannot miss or be evaded. Opponents above level (X) will only take normal damage.

STINGING SWARM

 

 

Description: Summons a swarm of tiny, stinging insects that deal (X) poison damage per tick to all enemies within 4 meters of the target, for 20 seconds.

Skill Class: Wounding Attack Evasion

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: You are being targeted by a swarm of stinging insects, dealing damage over time.

 

 

SANCTUARY

 

 

Description: You summon a shield of glittering light to that protects all party members in range from up to (X) damage for the next 30 seconds.

Ability: Nature Magic

Stat: Focus

Energy Cost: (Y)

What you see when you are under the effect of this skill: You are under the effects of Sanctuary, protecting you from some incoming damage.

 

 

NATURES BREATH

 

 

Description: Summon a gentle breath of nature that restores x health to all group members in an 8 meters radius.

SHROUD OF SPIRITS

 

 

Description: Summons a swarm of tiny, stinging insects that deal (X) poison damage per tick to all enemies within 4 meters of the target, for 20 seconds.

WARD OF MAGIC

Organizing Skills

 

Druid is the class that most skills is able to have, I already said that. In order to use these skills, they must be in the Hotbar, on the right-hand side of the screen. I took a while to find the best way to configure my Hotbar. We can group skills following their nature: attack, defense, heal, protect etc. But it seems to me that it's useful to understand that, depending on what you are doing at the moment, you are going to use some skills much more than other ones, disregarding their nature. As a Druid, I can play soloing or bossing. When I play solo, I must attack the enemy and heal myself. When I am bossing, I heal and protect other players, while defend myself. So, I thought I work on 'modes', and I created a group of 8 Hotbar slots for each mode. Come on! You are going to pay 24 plats for each mode (1 Hotbar slot = 3 plats). This is a free game, but if you want to evolve, you'll have to spend a little money.

 

That's my skills configuration:

 

 

BUFFERING MODE

 

Used before a battle, soloing or bossing.

 

Skills: Meditate, Abundance, Abundant Aura, Recuperate, Bless, Ward of Soldiers, Shield of Bark and Natures Embrace.

 

 

 

 

 

 

As each skill will drain some energy, it's good to grant your energy refill, calling Meditate. Abundance and Abundant Aura will increment your health capacity and Recuperate will fill your health bar, while you summon the other protective skills, Bless, Ward of Soldiers and Shield of Bark. Natures Embrace is the skill that lasts lesser, so it's a good idea to cast it right before battle begins.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FIGHTING MODE

 

Used to attack enemies, soloing, duoing, or bossing with very strong players that don't need to be healed on every moment.

 

Skills: Strangling Vines, Lightning Strike, Stinging Swarm, Storm Touch, Howling Wind, Energy Harvest, Calm and Natures Touch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remember to use each attack skill immediately after a weapon hit (hit the enemy with your weapon, cast an attack skill, wait until you hit him again, cast an attack skill and so on). When your health is half bar, stop attacking and cast Natures Touch until it works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PROTECTING MODE

 

Used to protect and heal your group, when you are duoing or bossing.

 

Skills: Abundance, Abundant Aura, Bless, Shield of Bark, Ward of Soldiers, Natures Embrace, Natures Breath and Natures Touch.

 

In your group, the player that produces more damage to the enemy will be chosen to be killed first. So he will sustain most of the enemy's attacks and his health will gradually decreased. That's the Tank of the group. Your job is to keep him alive, and with good health, using Natures Touch over and over again. Summon Natures Breath, Natures Embrace or a protective skill while Natures Touch is recharging. If the Tank is ok, you can select the weaker player (the less healthy one) and cast any of the skills, but Natures Touch (this skill is to be applied only on the Tank). The health of the Tank is more valuable even than yours. When you are in trouble and a enemy is hitting you, don't stop healing the Tank. Just say to the group 'Please, somebody kill the creature that is trying to kill me. Thanks a lot!'(*), and wait that somebody come in your help.

 

(*) Of course, if you write it every time you need help, your Tank will die and nobody will group to you anymore. I created a keyboard shortcut: Settings, General, Keyboard, Shortcuts, Add New Shortcut, Phrase field: PLEASE, SOMEBODY KILL THIS ANNOYING BEING. Shortcut field: .add

 

In the game, when you need help, just say to the group '.add' and they'll read 'PLEASE, SOMEBODY KILL THIS ANNOYING BEING.'

 

 

GARBAGE MODE

 

Almost not used... Once Druid is the character that most skills is able to have, some of them will not be upgraded (Druids have the same allocable skill points to distribute among a higher number of skills). In this mode, I put some skills that only work with very low level characters or their benefits are not worth the work to push the button, because they are not upgraded. In the other hand, the empty slots where filled with the most important skills.

 

Skills: Meditate, Grasping Roots, Spring of Life, Rescue, Sanctuary, Bandage Wounds, Natures Embrace and Natures Touch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EMERGENCY MODE
